  • Safety and coordination for family or organization use cases

📄 Scope of Collected Data

When enabled, the Agent app may collect:

  • Latitude and longitude coordinates

  • Timestamp of location updates

  • Accuracy of GPS fix (in meters)

  • Device ID and tracking session ID

  • Movement speed and altitude (if available)

  1. Location tracking is optional and must be explicitly enabled by the account owner.

  2. Consent is recorded at the time GPS collection is activated.

  3. Users are informed that location access is continuous (background mode).

  4. Users can disable GPS tracking at any time via the Admin app or Control Panel.

  5. The app requires Android permissions: ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.

The ambient voice recording feature allows the device to capture short audio samples using the built-in microphone. This feature is designed for:

  • Incident investigation with timestamped audio clips

When enabled, the Agent app may collect:

  • Audio recordings from the device microphone

  • Timestamps of each audio clip

  • Device ID and session ID

  • Audio duration and file size metadata

  1. Ambient audio recording is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled by the account owner.

  2. Consent is recorded with timestamp and user IP when the feature is activated.

  3. Users are informed that microphone access is involved.

  4. Audio recordings are limited in length (e.g., 10–60 seconds per clip).

  5. Recordings are triggered manually or through scheduled intervals.

  • Tracking company device usage

  • Security and contact history auditing

When enabled, the Agent app may collect:

  • Incoming, outgoing, and missed call entries

  • Phone number and call duration

  • Call direction (inbound or outbound)

  • Timestamp of each call

  • Contact name (if available in the device)

  • Device ID associated with the log

Photo Backup

This section explains the consent policy for accessing and syncing photos or media files using the MyPhones Agent app.

✅ Purpose of Photo & Media Sync

The Agent app can back up and sync selected media files (such as images or videos) from the monitored device. This is useful for:

  • Photo history tracking for parents or organizations

  • Secure media backup

  • Reviewing visual activity from the device

📄 Scope of Collected Data

When enabled, the app may access:

  • Photos and videos from the device’s media folders

  • File metadata: name, size, date created, date modified

  • Thumbnail previews (not full-resolution by default)

  • Device ID and upload session ID

  • File path or storage location (internal/external)

  1. Media access is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled.

  2. Consent is logged with a timestamp and user confirmation.

  3. Users are informed that files will be read from the device storage.

  4. The app requests READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 11+).

SMS Message

  • Detecting potential harmful or unauthorized messaging activity

When enabled, the Agent app may collect:

  • SMS message direction (inbound or outbound)

  • Sender or recipient phone number

  • Timestamp of each message

  • Message body content (optional)

  • Delivery/read status (if available)

  • Contact name (if matched in address book)

  1. SMS monitoring is optional and must be explicitly enabled.

  2. Consent is captured with timestamp, user IP, and device association.

Browser History

Browser history tracking is designed for:

  • Monitoring the online activity of children or teens

  • Identifying inappropriate or harmful websites

  • Auditing company-owned devices for compliance

When enabled, the Agent app may collect:

  • Website URLs visited (HTTP/HTTPS)

  • Page titles (if available)

  • Timestamp of visits

  • Browser type (e.g., Chrome, Firefox)

  • Device ID linked to each entry

  1. Browser tracking is optional and must be explicitly activated.

✅ Purpose of App Inventory Monitoring

Tracking installed apps is used for:

  • Monitoring the use of unauthorized or inappropriate applications

  • Understanding app usage trends on a child or employee’s device

  • Security auditing of installed software

📄 Scope of Collected Data

When enabled, the Agent app may collect:

  • App name and package name

  • Version code and version name

  • Installation and last update timestamps

  • App size (if available)

  • Whether the app is system or user-installed

  1. App inventory access is optional and must be enabled manually.

  3. The app requires the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission on Android 11+.

When enabled, the Agent app may collect:

  • Battery level and charging status

  • Storage capacity and available space

  • Network type and connectivity status

  • Screen on/off state and screen lock status

  • Device model, OS version, language, and uptime

  • Timezone and system time

  • SIM state and mobile operator name

  1. Device snapshot collection is enabled by default as a core diagnostic feature.

  2. Users are informed that only non-personal, system-level metadata is collected.

  3. Data is updated periodically (e.g., hourly or during key events).
